WELL, I DECIDED TO BREAK THROUGH MY INSECURITIES AND MAKE THESE BIRP CLOTHS, AND I LOVE THEM! THEY ARE MADE WITH BATTING INSIDE, SO THEY ARE SUPPER SOFT!! AND THICK, SO I BET THEY ABSORB NICELY.

THEY WERE FAIRLY EASY, BUT A LITTLE TIME CONSUMING. AFTER I FIGURED HOW TO MAKE THE PATTERN, IT WAS JUST A LOT OF CUTTING, QUICK SEWING, AND MORE CUTTING, AND THEN MORE CUTTING! I CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE SOME BOY ONES, SO IF ANYONE IS HAVING A BOY! KORBI WAS THE LUCKY FIRST RECIPIENT, BUT I HOPE TO HAVE MANY MORE. CRAFTS ARE JUST SO FUN, WHEN I HAVE TIME TO DO THEM. MY HOUSE HAD TO GET PRITTY SCARY FOR ME TO FINISH THESE, BUT THE END RESULT WAS GOOD, AND MY HOUSE IS NOW BACK TO NORMAL.

I'M ALSO MAKING A FABULOUS RECIPE HOLDER, BETHANY HAS AN ORIGINAL, I'M JUST COPYING! THANKS BETHANY. IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER COOL CRAFTS THEY HAVE DONE, OR ARE DOING AND WOULD LIKE TO SHARE, I'D LOVE TO HAVE SOMETHING NEW TO WORK ON. THANKS AND HAPPY CRAFTING!

I just ordered a book on Amazon on how to make stuffed animals out of socks and gloves, so cute! Check out my blog under "sites" and "homemade crafts" or something like that. We'll get together and make some after I figure it out. ;) Great job on the burp cloths by the way. I totally went to Wal-Mart to buy material and forgot to get some! ahah! Looks like another trip tomorrow...
